Miss {A}lex Class of 2012 Corvallis, Oregon Senior Photography

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…I LOVE shooting seniors!  They are so much fun!  This lovely lady is such a beauty – and a very talented gymnast!  She has a love for animals (which I got to experience first hand…sorry about your skirt! hehe) and is thinking of going into Animal Science/Pre-Vet.  She is a world traveler (so. jealous.) and speaks fluent French.  No to mention she is as sweet as they come!  With such talent and poise, I have no doubts this girl will succeed at anything she chooses to do.

Thanks again, Alex!  Good luck with school and I hope you get into the program you want (SPU or otherwise)!

xoxox,

Stephanie

Scott and Hayley got to know each other during their time at (say it with me…) OOOOOOOOOOOO SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS UUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!  Turns out they were from the same small town, went to the same high school and their parents had been acquaintences.  They finished up their schooling and started their careers, eventually marrying.  I met them when I photographed Hayley’s brother’s wedding last December (Hi Tana & Kelly!).  It was really fun to see them again and we had a great time getting to know each other better.

Wanna hear something funny?  Turns out we have a mutual friend that I grew up with (Hi Mylee!) and they became friends in Bend.  AND they have friends who attended the wedding that I shot last weekend in Portland (all kinds of awesomeness coming soonish)…crazy connections or what?!

Scott and Hayley are die-hard OSU Beaver fans – so it was only fitting that their session take place on campus!  Such a great sesh – thanks guys!  That cute little belly is housing a baby girl…and her name will be Emma.  So sweet!  Can’t wait to do her newborn photos!

Good luck Hayley and Scott - with the birth and with adjusting to life as first-time parents!  You’ll be awesome!

Miss {A} Senior Session, Corvallis, Oregon Class of 2012 Photography

I first met Anastasia when she was 14 years old. Her family had recently moved back to Corvallis and I was teaching a candy-making class (fudge, actually) that she attended. I loved her name! I told her how we had planned on naming our 3rd child Anastasia (and calling her “Anya”). But in the end, she became our “Avonleigh”. It’s been fun to get to know Ana and see how [quickly] she has grown up!

She is heading off to New Hampshire to spend her senior year at a new school! What an adventurous young lady – and oh so beautiful!

Enjoy NH!

{T}iffany & {B}rian Corvallis, Oregon Engagement Session

I had such a great time getting to know Tiffany and Brian! It was a somewhat overcast day (having followed 2 days of rain), so I decided to bump the session time up an hour (and they were wonderful to oblige). I’m so glad we did! We were finishing up at about the time it would have started – and losing light quickly!

Thank you guys! I can’t wait for your beautiful Fall wedding!

Remember this cute maternity session?  Well that sweet couple went on to have one of the most adorable little boys!

Introducing: Liam Robert Prahl - 2 weeks new:

7+ weeks:

Avonleigh was so smitten with this little guy! You’d have thought she died and went to heaven when she was asked if she wanted to hold him! Thanks Nichole, you totally made her summer!

I have the most amazing clients – seriously AH-MAZING! Ben and Nichole had more happen to them in the course of a few weeks than some people go through in a lifetime! They moved into their own place, lost Ben’s dad to cancer and 2 days later Nichole went into labor with Liam. They really are incredibly strong, faithful people and Liam is so blessed to have them as his parents! Love you guys!
